Can anyone advise what connector/pins the front VSS needs to be connected to on a 99-02 F-body? Thanks in advance.

Anyone? The 4L80E sticky shows that speartech sends another VSS connector with wiring. I have one from a chopped up harness, just need to know blue or red connector and what pins. Thanks in advance.

There are no pins. The front sender on the 4L80E is the input speed sender. The 4L60E doesn't have this. Stock configuration uses engine speed instead of input shaft speed.

My 4l80 plugged right into the stock location on the tail shaft.

That would work but whats plugged into your front speed sender. Thats what he's asking about, I say it doesn't get used.

Tomorrow I could post up what pins #'s to use on a late model truck pcm, but I don't know if it the same on the cars.

Different in the cars. I have a 4L80E in my 63 LS1 swap and it's working with out the front VSS. But the 4L80E swap thread says it is used with the Speartech converter and even after HPtuners modifies the file. What's the use of it though? It doesn't look like I "need" it but would like to know what it's use is and if I can benifit from having it hooked up.
