Default cant find write up

can sombody please give me a link to a good write up on how to install my Stall converter?

ive tried the search and cant find any...ive tried installuniversity..nothing, and ls1how to...also nothing..


your help is much appreciated.. thanks!

1.Get off you but! And disconnect battery.
2. Unbolt the driveshaft
3. Disconnect the shifter linkage
4. Unbolt the crossmember
5. Disconnect transmission lines (Little clip holds them in)
6. Unbolt the starter
7. Unbolt the flywheel bolt (Remove the plastic insert for the starter) Also have to turn engine to get to all three bolts.
8. Disconnect all electrical harness
9. Undo TQ arm
10. Remove bell housing bolts
11. Break tranny loose. I usally use a pry bar to get the dowels to move.

Thats good enuff Get to work.

3a.... loosen the pan bolts and drain some fluid prior to removal.

Its not that hard.... Since you dont have to take the tranny out from under the car, you can prolly get it done in a day. Just MAKE SURE you put the verter on ALL the way.. If not, youll smash the tabs on the pump.

The dam site shutdown before I could edit it I have the tranny plugs so no reason to drain any fuild
