will an LSx 4L60-E work with a vortec 4200 L6? does anyone know - will the 4L60-E transmission off my 5.3 LSx truck motor work on the vortec 4200 inline 6? i know it has the same bolt pattern but wondering on converter to flexplate, and depth. i know i can just measure the distance from block to flexplate - but the motor is not here yet and if this will not work i want to start looking for a transmission.
