AFTER INSTALLING TRanny and sensor,i just noticed,its not the same coneector,now im going from a 6 sspeed,do i have to get a pigtail and splice in the connector.what to do?is the a4 the same conector?

 

cmon,anyone know if a4 and m6 speedsensor pigtails are diffrent.i know not everyone w/th400s are riding around with no speedo?

It looked REAL similar to mine, but I'll have to look at mine again to verify that. Like you said, yours is real close to being right, the A4 and M6 plugs might just be a hair different.

I had to use a pigtail from about a 89-90 454 SS truck with the TH400. If I find the part number I'll post it later.

 

Kip, go to this site and e-mail this guy. He has done the swap from A4 to TH400 and has the new parts you have, Maybe he can tell you if the A4 plug is the same as the M6 or different.
