A SY 3500 is a great converter for stoplight racing with 3.73s. A Yank SS3600 is also surprisingly tight for a 3600 stall.

TCS could also build you something in a 3200 - 3400 stall range with a 1.9 STR that would be good for stoplight racing.

The TCS 3800, 2.5 STR would be a good choice. I have the 4200, 2.7 STR and it's really streetable for such a high stall and it's awesome on the street.

The low STR SY 3500 is relatively easy to hook up on the street because it doesn't hit the tires as hard as a high STR converter. The higher STR converters take a little more practice.

A very high stall, high STR is easier to hook than you might expect; the high stall looseness' provides some pedal room to step into your launch, although 3.73s do add to wheel spin. When I had a YTP 4000 with 3.23s, it was much easier to launch than when I switched to 3.73s.

I run nitto drag radials on the street, but keep the pressure up around 27 lbs +/- 1 to maintain decent cornering.
