new converter quiz
What is wrong?
When I'm a little more than slow-go speed when my car hits second gear it feels a little bogged down with a loss of power, and then it burbles and starts to pick up speed. Now if I'm already in second gear and hit the gass, it hauls serious a**.
I think I may have a little too much fluid in it, but not much. I don't have a clue, because I'm new to this, but I do know that the thing is fast from a roll, but because of the concern above, I haven't hit it hard from a stop. Any suggestions

By the way the problem is from my Vig 2800. It is the first stall converter I've ever had <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />
TQ Mgmt is in the computer. It pulls timing during the shifts to reduce the power going through the tranny. The impact is much more obvious on a high stall converter.
Can it be fixed with LS1-edit? And will it hurt to run without fix for a while, because I am looking into a cam in the near future and will have some reprogramming then. Thanks. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

My 02 does the same thing with the Vig 2800, it shifts into second between like a third or half throttle and it kinda of jerks you forward. Something i've been good at avoiding recently, just give it a lil more gas <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
My 98 does the same thing with my TCI3500, and more so when cold, even with LS1Edit altered TQ management (and not much to begin with since it's a 98). A little extra throttle does smooth it out.
