Default Transmission sitting for awhile. Damage?

O.k. I have a fully built RMVB Rossler TH-350 and it has been sitting level for about two years now with fluid in the pan and converter. What kind of damage has been done to it by sitting? It was perfect when it came out.

About the only damage would be to the front seal from the weight of the convertor resting on it.

You may want to replace it now.

If all the holes were plugged you should be ok.

As mentioned above....very good advise. I also would probably drain the fluids out of it and put a fresh pan gasket and filter on it as well. The internal components should be just fine providing that they have not been subjected to a lot of moisture. If this has not been the case then do as advised above and run with it. Vince

Sounds good. I will have a reputable shop do a service on it. Replace the front seal and sell it then. Thanks
