Can I use a 4wd 4l80e I can get my hands on a 4l80E with 30,000 miles on it dirt cheap out of a Silverado, problem is the truck has 4WD.
What has to be done to use this tranny in a F-body.

You will also have to add a reluctor to the rear carrier in the transmission when it is apart because the 4x4 unit uses a sensor on the transfer case and doesn't have one in the trans for the output sensor !!!!
