I know one guy who's running one on his Silverado SS, seems
to give no problems. He ate up 4 or so 4L60Es and went to the
4L80E, in the mid-high 10s with a full weight truck (blower +
N2O).
It's a pretty simple interface, you don't get a lot of control
(not like fine-tuning the PCM) but seems like good enough.

Great product at a good price. Very easy to learn and tune. The only "con" is that the harness is loomed kinda funny. One main trunk with three equal length branches even though all three are going to different parts of the car. A minor annoyance. Has, by far, the best manual mode with features like automatic 1st gear restarts that eliminate the chance of leaving from a stop in high gear. Other than the first gear restarts, manual mode is full manual.
If you want more sophisticated tuning from a standalone controller, go with Powertrain Control Solutions. They are also owned by Comp, but the products are quite different. The PCS controller costs more at $850, but it has a much nicer harness and is way more powerful.
