Default Stall Speed

Gimme your vote. I understand this is very opinion based...but Im curious. The car will be mods in sig plus a cam along the lines of 230dur 600 lift...maybe slightly smaller... LTs and ORY I also will probably go 3.73s when I can...car is DD but I am fine with cars on the agressive side. I want it to really drop the hammer on the street, but be drivable through town.

i think a 36-3800 would be good for you. i like the lower stalls myself, but for the cam and gears, your gonna want the higher rpms... i have a 3000, and for me, it's just right... any higher would be too loose.

if N20 is not in your future, I'd go w/ a Yank SS4000. I've had a SS3200 and had restalled to 3600 (I'm going to N20)... still drives great but there's a HUGE difference in how they react WOT. Traction will become issue you'll have to address w/ a high stall ...but isn't that why we mod these cars?

The car is on some MT ET Radials now and I lost the front sway bar, so I have traction somewhat handled until I start getting fast. What STR do you guys like?...I want that good launch but I still need it to pull hard down the track..

LS1Silverado05- Bro. I voted 3600. Honestly the best thing you could do in my opinion is start by calling Yank Coverters bro. They will do something amazing that is rare in the parts business...YANK WILL TAKE THE TIME LISTEN TO YOUR NEEDS, MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS, AND THEN GIVE YOU A KILLER DEAL! NOT JUST SELL YOU SOMETHING BECAUSE ITS IN STOCK AND A CATALOG SAYS IT SORTA FITS YOUR NEEDS. CALL YANK BRO.

I'm also planning on a cam around that size and a switch to 3.73's gears. Unless I see something that changes my mind I would like to get a 3600 stall, haven't decided on str.

PY3600 here. 2.5STR. I love it! It's just right for my cam on the street NA, and still perfectly usable with the bottle. It's the best of both worlds.
