Default anyone running an Art Carr converter?

Have a dude giving me a HELL of a deal on a new one... anybody have any experience with them?

Yep have one in mine Th350 tranny and converter, love it very efficient, and so far damn reliable!

I had one (non lock up, 16930) in my old GN. It was a great converter, very efficient. I picked up 7mph in the quarter over the pro-torque that I had in the car prior to the Art Carr.

My buddy also has one in his GN and he likes it a lot... I hear that there was a period that they had a downhill slope but they're better again... I would maybe see how much they would charge for a washout and refresh... Just to be sure you know..

I had one on a TH400.... it was one of the better converters I've owned.
