Default Setting up trans cooler

What is the best way on a 4l60e to setup and trans cooler?? Do you bypass the rad. or use both, the raditator and a external trans cooler?? Can you have to big of a trans cooler???

I Bypassed the radiator with my'n..And have it mounted in front of the AC condenser. I dont really think you can have too big of a cooler...especially if your doing hard driving with a big stall..I have a 22,000 GVW cooler...and i'm sure i could have gone bigger...I think a lot of people on here run 30,000GVW coolers.

i have mine in front of the passanger wheel basically. Car had an slp ram air thing that goes in front of the radiator and the b&m 24k wouldnt fit. Was told that was the other place to put it. Havent had any issues, but i get nervous now with the car lowered and pulling into parking spots

I have a B&M 24K mounted "dope style" also, didn't bypass the radiator.

Some go one way and some the other , Our reasoning for wanting a bypass and furnishing a cooler. Has to do with units we got back full of engine coolant , After we had replaced the units.
