I read a thread on trannies a while ago, cant find it now, but someone mentioned the 4L80E. I looked up the site and now I am very interested to see who has one running in their F'er. As of now I have a stock engine and use 100 shot wet NX, but I plan on going FI and only want to do the trans swap once. M6, yeah, not bad, but once you get done with the annual (some sooner or some later) clutch swaps and fork changes etc...it seems to me the A4 is more consistent, reliable (not in stock form) and less $$$$. I do want a drivers car, not just strip. If I recall the thread mentioned the 80E fits with a little love from a hammer-like anyone will notice with the design of the floor pan anyway. Any info is greatly appreciated. Not real interested in the 700R4, maybe a built 200R4, but who's running the hog of shiftdome 4L80E?
