I pulled out my Yank converter and found... I am rebuilding my tranny (3rd gear gone) and pulled out my Yank converter and the fluid in the converter is really cloudy (metal shavings?). Can I just put it back in my rebuilt tranny and not worry about it or should I send it to Mike and have it look at/freshened up? I have 20k miles on the verter and its a Yank PT 4500. It will probably be better to have someone do it. Do a search on this forum. You can get a lot of info on the different alternatives you have. Good luck.
