I am having A4 built because I am tired of fighting with clutch smell after almost every run now.
Don't want to spend fortune on 12 Bolt,race clutch,DS,U joints,and breaking things.
I have done over 2300 runs with my T-56 but have trouble getting consistent 60 ft times.
Since H/C headers and now 4.10 having less fun, will go to A4 and simplefy things.

depends on how good you are with a stick.
Swapping to an A4 with a good converter makes for a car that is hard to beat out of the hole. Only drawback is that the older LT1s occassionaly have problems dealing with real high stall converters (over about 3000 true stall).
From a roll, stay with the stick.
