My TH400 running hotter than before with higher stall and rebuild
Well like the title states my 400 bit the dust one afternoon. (busted off some of the ears inside the case). I took it to a local shop and had all the internals rebuilt with some of the red clutches inside a new case. I decided to take the 2500 stall out and put a higher stall in while it was out anyways. I went with a 4000 stall. It also has a reverse manual valve body with a trans brake. The car also has a trans cooler. Now my trans is running a little on the warm side of 180-210. It use to be 160-180. Is this normal operating temp with this high of stall?
Thanks
