O yeah, I've checked pinion angle and set it.

The vibration is noticeable at idle/park though. And while driving throwing it in nuetral so the RPMs go down to 800 cures the vibration.

Try unbolting the converter from flex plate then retightening it. I have seen a vibration like you mention causd when the converter bolts themselves are used to pull the converter to the flexplate

I guess a quick update.

With the new Yank SS3600 in there with my transmission fixed, the car is running good.

Goods and bad though.

Good: got a few decent runs in, Managed a 1.67, 1.68 60ft when it hooked.

Bad: I had it tuned for my old converter before all the problems. It would lock up in OD perfect at 40 mph, it then would too with the stock converter. For some reason this converter won't always lock up and when it does its at 52 mph. I can't see why a converter made the lock up any different. I plan on having it checked by the tuner soon.

I'll post up more in a bit
my old best was 12.30 @ 113 w/ 1.85 60ft (headers 4.10s)

now with the converter the best it would do was a 12.39 @110 1.67 60ft
I did put a 12 bolt with 4.11s in it(which i can see the weight slowing me down some) but I was hoping my underdrive crank pulley would almost make up for that.

I thought the air was good, i'll go back to the track on friday.
