Here is a link to a review I did on the SS 3800 when I first got it. Since then I have been cutting mid 1.6's all the time.

Yes, Ditto from The Colonel's post. A '02 3.23, 35-3600 lb. F bod w/a SS 3600 brandy new Yank. Let's hear some 1/4 mi. numbers and driveability comments, also torque management and any other issues---positive OR negative. Thanks. He was running ET streets. He absolutely loves the converter.

I had my SS3800 installed a few weeks ago and I love it. My car is a basically stock '02 SS with SLP OEM lid and CME. Also have a Predator to firm up the shifts and delete the torque management. Have a set of Jet-Hot Headers awaiting install. Only problem is, tracks are closed until 1 March.
Not sure what I am going to do for traction, but will go either w/ ET streets or Nitto's. Don't think the Nitto's will hold, so probably the ET Streets. On the F1's from a 15mph or less, the car will spin the tires all day and not hook up.
As a daily driver, I am very happy with my choice. No issues with a little over 400 miles.
I'll post results as soon as we can get some of these tracks open.

I am completely satisfied with my SS3800. Nittos will not hold! I happened to get a 1.7 out of mine a couple of weeks ago, but for the most part I spun the crap out of them. Driveablilty has not been an issue whatsoever. No lockup problems and partial throttle response is great. I am gonna try my BFG's next time at track and see how they hold up, but I am sure I will be purchasing at least some ET streets.
Oh and I wouldn't bother with the SS3600. just go with the SS3800 and be done with buying converters.
