Default 4L60E Vacuum modulator or not??

Looking at buying new tranny.I have a 2000 Camaro SS with Procharger.I have heard different stories about going vacuum modulated with a supercharger. Is there a reliability factor that goes with vacuum modulator?I have talked to a few companies and some swear by vacuum modulated and others say it causes big problems. What is the consensus here?? Anyone????

i bought a flt tranny with one.. so far it seems to work ok...before that i had a stock tranny and i was happy with the computer controlling it..

all i can say is make dam sure if you go vacc mod it is set up right.. once its in you gotta pull the dam thing to adjust it.. i do miss the ablity to adjust my line pressure as mine shifts less firm then i wanted but being my was setup up my FLT im guessing where it is is probally where it should be

the verdict: if set up right(either way) theres no difference

I'll be putting the vac mod in every trans I can from here on out. I love mine. If you are f/i make sure you get the ybpass valve for it though... call FLT, they'll hook you up.
