Lvl 2 here with Yank SS3600. Trans is excellent, worked correctly from the moment I first put it in gear. I have about 3k miles on mine with absolutely no problems except for no traction The deleted PWM is well worth it, locks hard and stays locked, no slipping anymore.

I would like to know what the difference is between the 4L60E and the 4L65E.

I placed a Level 2 4L60E on Layaway a couple of weeks ago and im kind curious now.

The notable difference between the 4l60e an 65e is the addition of 5 pinion planets. we dont actually build "4l60/65" As separate units but rather three levels of the 4l60/65e /

Spraying through the shifts in a 4l60e is just a bad idea I don't care who builds it! Vince

I have a lvl2 with a yank pt4000. It's seen plenty of abuse and back to back track runs in the summer. Hasnt missed a beat yet. I've had mine over a year now

Is your car a DD by any chance? Is the converter too high for the street? I have a lvl 2 on layaway (gotta love a company that still does layaways ) and still deciding on the converter I need. Right now I put down 330 @ the wheels, but I do have a pretty aggressive cam and head package in mind for a future mod in a year or 2.

If you plan on staying all motor go with a Yank PT4400. If you plan on doing a 75-100 shot go with a PT 3800-4000. You will never regret going with any of yank's prothruster converters. They hit rediculously hard and the shift extension is incredible on them. My car isnt my daily driver I have a 2000 Blazer. I could daily drive my car if I wanted to. I drive it to work all the time im the spring/summer. A bunch of KC people are going to springfield,mo in april and im driving it 240 miles or whatever it is to there. Spend the money and get a yank
