Just went back to the shop, measured the slip yoke,it is 3.4 inches from the tranny tail to the U-joint center.
I think that is correct and not to tight??

Well I have a Moser 9 inch in a 2" lowered fbody, and no problems. I wonder if it could be your clutch linkage?

What I don't get is there were no issues before the diff swap.
Will double check linkage and MC related parts, just very odd.
Besides that everything is great,,,,,

Since you deleted the post, I guess you figured it out. I had the EXACT same problem. Turns out my locker creates too much slack in the driveline.

And what was your solution to the problem?

I deleted not to waste space[but it doesn't disappear,so no point in deleting].

Anxious to find a cure for the malady.

My cure as of now is just to live with it. It shifts smooth as glass at WOT, so I can deal with it. I'm currently debating a spool. I still wonder exactly why the additional slack causes this problem.
