Default Track times with Vig3600...hoped for better

Well i finally got a chance to go out to HRP this wednesday night, to get my first track times with my newly installed vig3600.

I thought i could have done better...i was runnin Nitto 555Rs and i gotem hot soo.... i guess i just need to add more to get more i guess its one step at a time.

that pretty good. imo.... that might be a bit big for having no other mods.... but when you build-up more you'll be glad you have it .... like myt i'm all bolt on and a vig3200 needing more stall to go faster so your be better off in the long run.

Yea thats what i hear....im ot regreting the stall or anything i just had my expectations a lil bit to high for these track runs.

I know how you feel-i had the same results. I need more traction. for me the best motor 60ft was 1.82 on Nitto's 315/35/17 Drag radials.
But i did sneak out a few 1.75's on street tires on the bottle. Today ran in terrible weather and got 13.34@103 with a 1.95. Then 11.98@115 with 1.75 on a 150 shot. E/T streets are on the way real soon.
Goodluck This is a great convertor for everyday driving in my opinion.

99PTA, keep practicing and youll bring the car down to some 12.50's with those same mods u have on your car...Just stall it where it likes it!

You say in other thread you have 2.73 gears. thats whats killin you. Pick up some 3.42s or 3.73s and you will see a great increase, and really feel the difference

ditto on WILWAXU

i went from 1.8's to 1.5's on nittos bolt on with alot of practice

et's went from 12.6 to 11.9 also
