Help Was driving home tonight and my tranny went out. I was speeding up lightly then I heard a grinding sound coming from the front of the tranny. Put the car in neutral and coasted home. Now I hear the grinding in D or R and the car will not move in either gear. When I put the car in a gear the speedo will go up to about 20 MPH.
Anyone have an idea on what is wrong?
