vig3200 good... vig3600 bad??? WHAT!

Default vig3200 good... vig3600 bad??? WHAT!
My local speed shop around me asked what converter i have. Told them i have a vig3200 and they said GOOD! They said the vig3600's are crappy. Doesnt make sence to me, how does 400 more stall make a good converter all of a sudden crappy? This is from a good/well known speed shop and they make some nasty cars too.
