Default NEED COMPLETE INFO 4l60e to th350

Anyone know where I can get complete run down on swapping over from a 4l60e to a th350 trans. This is a drag car don't need to speedo to work, don't need any computer to monitor the trans and so on. I know if I use a th350 with a 9 inch tail shaft the stock driveshaft will work. A full brake down would be most helpful. Thanks.

This all depends on the motor and if you are going to run the computer at all,Won't run right without speed sensor input from trans,But as luck would have it for you,The reluctor wheel from the 4L60E can be transfered to the 350 output shaft and if you locate a til housing with the large hole,Not the bullet style that most Chevrolets use,For example you need a Buick ,Olds,Pontiac 9 Inch housing,You will be good to go and have your speed input to computer,If you don't need that,There are many F body conversion kits I'm sure you know about to remount the Torque arm,Then just go with a manual valve body,No more kickdown cable or modulator,Get a shifter,Or mod yours and rock and roll!

no speed sensor in the tranny here, no speedodometer, and it runs great.

Stock driveshaft will work with 9" tail. Stock shifter will work as well.

Go for the BMR tranny/torque arm relocator mount, will save you a lot of headache for $250.
