I have a ACC in the 83 cutlass. built 455 with edelbrock heads and all the goodies. does easy mid-high 11s anytime. Anyway it is very good and ive had it for the whole season (brother owns the car, i get the parts for him and help) anyway its very consistant, but is very tight for advertised stall speeds. Bought the 3-3.2k stall and it stalls to about 2800 on the car. Very tight in town and regular driving but opens up pretty good when footbraked. The car makes 470hp-455ft-lbs at the wheels and it has alot less slip up top then the last converter. Overall it stalls the same as the old one but we picked up a tenth and 2-3mph up top with it. So far no complaints especially for the price.
