Default SS4000 in an LT1

Got off the phone with Yank today and first off the PT4000 wont work with my car so I was recommended the SS4000 for my needs. Kinda unsure still because I know the SS3600 would be a little more friendly commuting to school and all. Anyways the 3600 has a shift extension at 4900 and the 4000 at 5300 and I will be shifting at 6300/6400 so is only having a shift extension 1000 rpm less than my shiftpoints alright? And not sure if I will ever get Nitrous or not but if I did could I still run it with the 4000 even with that high of a shift extension?

LT1's make better TQ down low thats why most lightly modded guys usually stay around 3200 and under. I'm no LT1 expert so i'd do some more asking around and get stories for guys with similar mods and see what worked best for them. TTT for ya.

If you decide on an SS4000 I have one with only 20 or so miles on it.

^Thats what I did today and I just ordered an SS3600 and glad I talked to him again, he said it would be better for my setup since I just decided Im going to run a 150 shot instead of going all motor where the 4000 would be better.

^^^Good choice. The SS converters are great on the street since they tend to be tighter. Also a good choice for the spray. You'll never look towards the 6-speed again!
