The problem is definatly the input sprag, when I pulled the outer race off it fell to pieces. The inner race was galdged and discolored. On the positive all the planets looked good. Attached are pictures of the low roller outer race, you can kinda see that the ramp surfaces are smooth but not flat. And also pictures of the input sprag.

 

Yes I would say thats it you need to get a whole assembly and Iwould upgrade to the borg warner 29 element types. You rolled that one over good.

 

BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waiting to put it back together....

 

The replacement sprag assembly, gaskets, front pump O-ring, etc. are on the way.
