Variable Pitch Converters
The guy that is putting together my trans wants to use a variable pitch converter in the car...supposedly the car will stall at 2000 on the street and then stall at 3000 with a flip of a switch.
Anybody else using one of these?

Seems like I heard variable pitch converters are very heavy?
I got the feeling that there was a limit as to how high you could go with the stall for these...is that true?

Be intersting to see if your efficencies dies on the higher stall speed; That's a pretty big spread.
I will report back on how it goes. The thought on the 3000 was that my car makes full boost (8psi) at 3000 and that is where I am going to leave on the brake.
