Default TCI 3500 Street Fighter Question

My car is burning gas like a **** I was wondering if it could be my stall or my cam which is a 228/228 581lift 114:lob. I heard these stalls have really bad mpg. Any thoughts and any body have a 3500 and have bad MPG. I get around 110 to the tanke city. Any guesses are welcome. and the car is tuned

Have your tune checked. Is your converter locking up?

How fresh is this combination?

It does lock up and I had the tuner check it and he said it was because of the stall and he also said there might be soemthing else wrong but it will take time and a lot of $$$ to go through it. I might just go back to stock if I cant figuer it out. the engine is a rebuilt ls6 and it just has the cam stall and long tube header mod.

Get a new tuner, or at least another opinion.

I think your tuner is FOS.

Bigger stall wont effect mpg that much if it's a lock-up. I was getting 20-21mpg with a 3500 lockup on the highway with 4.10 gears and with a crappy tune.

What exactly is your current mpg?
What was the mpg before you noticed it burning more?
When was the last time the plugs & wires were changed?
When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

Just some other ideas. Might just need a basic tune up on the car.

True. I was getting 25ish mpg in my Camaro with a 3800 lockup and 3.73's

I'm getting around 12mpg city and I did change the wires but I have not changed the plugs yet and I will try changing the fuel filter and see what that does. Can the plugs effect the MPG that much?
