I picked SS 3800. I'm a '02 A4 w/some suspension mods, a SLP dual-dual w/LG Motorsports 2&3/4" Y-pipe w/2 cutouts, & a few other bolt-ons. Stock heads, cam, & no laughing gas. People say the 3800 shift extension a little higher than the 3600. The 3600 better for the Nitrous People? I won't know for sure till spring---if it ever comes in the Northeast this year.....Best wishes everyone. I have a SS3800 as well. Car is stock, awaiting header install. Will probably add the new NXL kit when available. I think the 3800 is a great choice. Probably a toss up between the two. If you're going to run more n/a than nitrous, I'd go with the 3800. As WJ said, the shift extension is less on the 3800. Mine goes back down to around 4800 after the shift. A SS3600 might drop to 4400 or something close.
