Default Got my transgo today

The shift kit showed up today. I hope it's going to solve some of the issues that I'm having, mostly just shifting too slow. I think I'm gonna wait til this weekend to do it maybe. Sounds to me like it wouldn't be a real easy after work job on a weekday from what the other shift kit thread says. My new cam also came today. The B1 is out and the new comp XE-R 228/236 is going in. 112 deg LSA with .588/.602 lift. Should be a rowdy thumper. I'm hopeful that the new bigger cam will help the car some with the problems I've been having producing good track times.

Later,
Jordan

You are correct about the shift kit being a Saturday project. It's pretty easy, but it takes time because there are so many little parts to change. Enjoy, I love mine. If you want a slaming into gear effect that is still streetable, use the stage 2. I think there was a choice to use 1, 2, or 3 washers, use 2.

I don't know of any writeups online, but I can tell you that it looks like a time consuming job fron what the directions look like. I did get the cam in two nights ago, it's a beast. I don't know how but I missed a rocker arm when I was torqueing them all down, so on the new cam test drive I was greeted with some nice metal on metal banging noises a couple miles away when the rocker started working its way loose. As soon as I got the valve cover back off I saw what had happened right away. It has a pretty cool sounding idle now, but I am getting some really bad stalling problems but they should be able to be fixed.
