Lionel, what about 6061 or 7075 billet aluminum. It has more weight but great strength. I think weight probably won't be too much of an issue as with big power sacrifices will be made with rotating mass. I don't think anyone will notice the difference in the general public. Only racers that are **** enough to worry. We need to mass produce for the general public for around 750-1000HP. I don't think this tranny will hold up to more than that. I think also the input sprag might be looked at to make a change to create wider surface area for the 3-4 frictions for clamping force.

The oly people that are realy needing something like this are the Corvette guys. If you have an F body, i think it would be chaper to go to a 4l80 than spend the time and money to make a 4l60 for mega hp aplication. On the other hand, I am one of thos "corvette" guys!
The cost of putting a 4l80 in a vet is crazy!
