th350 temp sensor?

Default th350 temp sensor?

i just put a th350 in my 2000 ls1 firebird,i put the tranny temp sensor in a port on the right side of the tranny,it had a threaded plug in it took out the plug and the sensor fit fine,is that ok there and will it read higher or lower than in the pan? any help thanks

do you have a picture of where you took the plug out? otherwise IMO youd get better read out of the pan

Its one of the presure ports and you can read there, The temps may appear a bit higher than the real average since you are measuring right off the pump and i a small channel of the case, It wont be a good average temperature like you would get in the pan but still will give you and idea,

Default higher temp's

what do you think 10-15 degrees higher or 15-20? thanks

10 to 20 would be my guess would depend the type driving your doing at the time, On the lower side just normal driving but the spikes would tend to be more when driving agressivley.
