Just got the Vigilante 3200 installed, totally different car. The shifting needs to be improved its kinda slopy but man does it run! Looking forward to seeing how much improvement in the 1/4. Does anybody have any ideas on shift improvement though a Diablo or a Hypertech, or any other ideas?
Thanks
Thanks
Get a Trans-go shift kit. Mine will light up second gear with it.
BTW - I will have my Vig 3200 for sale in the next week or two (Soon as the weather breaks here) if anyone is interested. Less than 1000 miles on it. No issues at all with it. I am stepping up to a larger converter.

Yes. Any stall converter should have at least a 19,000 GVW cooler. A 2or 3 qt. extra capacity pan that has a drain plug is also nice to help make your transmission live if you're going to the track or whooping on it alot. Best wishes. I had a 15,000 GVW installed which was enough for MTI. Vigilante says that there is no need for one but in a daily driver Im sure it cant hurt it all.
Jason,
Good job! I knew you would like it! Now, you need to drive my car again with the Predator installed. It tightens everything back up that the converter loosened. You wouldn't be disappointed with it, just my opinion though!
See ya,

What you need to do is order a TransGo shift kit from a sponser because they are the cheapest. Then call Mike Kurtz at Century Automotive and get him to install it. He installed the TransGo and my vig3200 and he did an awesome job. He really knows his trannys. And also, he does some cool stuff to it so that it shifts harder than the TransGo 3 washer setting which is awesome. My 1-2 shift shakes the car and the rest are very quick. Also, manually shifting 1-2 is immeadiate, no delay at all so you can shift at 6,000 instead of 5,500 or just to have fun manually shifting.
I can't imagine if I had the stock converter, it would probably spin into 3rd <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
