Default 4L60e help!!

Soo...Something malfunctioned in my built 4L60e so I went to the junkyard and yanked a 4L60e off of a 2000 s10. One hundred dollars out the door, not bad to keep the car running while the other tranny is in the operating room. Anyways... Tranny's are indentical except for a stamp on the side. Built tranny says "50" while the junkyard tranny says "49". Does this matter? I swapped bellhousings, tail shafts and the TC. I installed everything, added fluid, prepped etc. To my surprise, the wheels weren't turning and no clunk was heard when the tranny was put into gear. My first thought was that the pump was bad. I disconnected the return line on the tranny cooler and it happily sprayed out. So the pump is good. I checked all the wiring harnesses and they were properly connected. I can go from Park to 1st and no mechanical noises are heard in the tranny. Help!!

I would pull the pan and check the internal linkage, Being a junkyard unit its possible it may have been damaged when being removed.

Linkage looked great, movement was smooth. Any other suggestions?

Actually yes I should have read your post more carfully a 2000 S10 would have had a 4.3 and while it is a 4l60e its not and LS1 type. Its a bolt on version of the LT1 type , I see you put the LS1 bell on it and the LS1 converter, Unfortunatly while that set up will drive the pump it will not drive the input shaft wrong spline set up, The trans you took from the S10 is incompatable. The trans you needed would have to come from behind another LS1 car or truck Sorry to give you bad news.

Good thing the junkyard has a return policy!!! Thanks for the info. So it absolutely HAS to come from another LS1 vehicle?
