New to converters - need help
I have done basic upgrades - intake, LT's, etc. and now I am in the market for a cam and stall.
At this point I have decided to get the converter in first, but I want to make sure my car will still be driveable.
I am looking at an upper 220's to low 230's cam, so obviously I want to plan accordingly.
Any suggestions on a range for a stall? After doing some research, I am looking at a YANK SS3600 - but I am not set on that just yet.
Thanks for your help
I mean, my understanding is that this would be a good set-up once the cam is in, but it'll probably be another year until that happens.
So, I guess my BIG question is whether or not having this stall with my current stock set-up will be OK for a while ... ?

As a point of comparison, I have a 95 Z LT1, currently all stock, with an FLT tranny to be delivered soon (and the Yank). Long-story short - I plan to get into the 400 HP arena, done in 3 stages:
* Improve breathing (CAI, headers, 52MM TB)
* Top end (heads, cam kit)
* Bottom end (to 383).

I'll give Dave a call either way and talk it out - thanks a lot!
SS3600 it is in my book.
