Default Installing a tranny pump.......how hard and

how much do they cost?

I have an FLP IV, should I let the dealer do it?

Lumpy, I just took a stab at a possible problem. If your trans pump fails, it doesn't pump any fluid into the verter. Sometimes when the trans pump fails it damages parts in the transmission as well due to heat and use. If you catch a failing trans pump early though you may be good to go.

Ron was kind enough to e-mail me several VERY informative pics. If you want, I can relay the pictures to you.

Since you drove the car several times with the issue though, I'd think that the trans might have some more problems due to a failing pump,.. if that was the case.

Note, I am NOT a trans expert by any means.
