Default 3rd gear slips...help....

Well I dont know if this is the section to post an a4 question but here it goes well my daily driven suburban is beginning to have a problem when it shifts into 3rd all the other gears shift normaly but when it shifts into 3rd it seems like the clutch is sliping and then it shifts like 3 secs later like if it was a stick car with a worn bad clutch but only when it sifts into 3rd...let me know what you guys think is it.Thanks

Well I dont know how many miles are of your truck but it sounds like the 3-4 clutch is giving up, Eventually the shift will just become neutral. I dont see any electrical issue causeing this sounds like its about time for a trans

There aren't too many different issues that can cause a 2/3 upshift to slip.

Either one of the possible causes are going to be internal.

We build 4L60E's for Trucks and Suburbans often. Call me and I could spell out some options you may not be aware of.
