The Car is a 2000 Z28 A4, and I am going to switch to a T400. What tuning issues am I going to run into, since the computer is going to be looking for the tranny, but it wont see it since it is not computer controled. I have LS1 edit already, just wondering what problems I am going to run into after the swap

SES light is gonna be blinging at ya for sure, since it wont see the tranny. Other than that you shouldnt have any adverse effects in regards to engine tuning.

 

Shouldnt I be able to delete the codes that would be flashing with edit, outta all the T400's on here, noone has gone from a 4l60e to a t400, and know what to do?

 

people on this board have swapped from a 4L60E to TH400 just do a search or wait a few to see if anybody replies, its only been a day.

 

Turn off the tranny codes with LS1 Edit. No SES light after that. Worked for me.

i have a th400 and I have the light on. Doesnt really bother me.

 

What about M6 to TH-400, any tunin problems there?
