new tranny slipping
01 camaro stock with headers and exhaust, Had my tranny rebuilt about 2 months ago. Rebuilt by aamco and gave me a warranty.
Tranny is a 65E and they built it as strong as possible, beast sun shell, transgo shift kit ect. Converter specialist built a 3000 stall for it. Been working fine but other night was slipping really bad in first. shifts into 2nd really soft now to and stalls little. parked it took it back to AMMCO tonight. ??
Fluid is burnt-level is fine - Converter going out, lock up not working??
read some where about deleting tork management? wut is that about could that have caused problem?

Did you put a tranny cooler on it with the stall? Aamco is known to have some issues with stock transmissions, not to mention aftermarket. If you can find a way to get a refund I would go with one of our sponsors they all do great work.

trans cooler
when i bought the car i put a big cooler in, also tranny gauge cuz over heating is usually common. personally never had over heating problems 110-130 temp always, tranny does have warranty though will talk to ammco tomorrow

sorry buddy, but aamco is one of the biggest rip-offs ever. Heard too many horror stories about them not acknowledging their warrenty. I hope your issue gets resolved and i hope your tranny gets fixed.

I put the sending unit in the pressure port. It should be correct reading. Weather is cold in wyoming helps being 0 degrees or in the negatives, it just runs cool

There are a hundred things that could cause the problem. Sorry not to focus on them. I still see a problem with the temps you were reading and burnt fluid.
I've seen my 4L80E run at 240* over small mountains in a fullsized truck fully loaded towing my camaro on a trailer and the fluid still looks and smells new.
You had to be running more than 130* to burn fluid, when you get this trans fixed you might want to check the sender for the temp gauge to prevent further problems.
