Default fittings on B&M BIG trans cooler...

I have the biggest trans cooler from B&M and the fittings on it are not barbed hose fittings but (very) large female fittings. For those that have installed this cooler, what kind of adapters/hoses did you use???

Those are probably 1/2 NPT fittings. You can either get some Aeroquip 1/2 to -6AN fittings or just run some barb fittings. It's up to you.

the threads are 1/2" NPT

trust me on this and if you do not want to use expensive aeroquip fittings/lines it is going to be a PITA to find 1/2" NPT to 3/8" barb

It is easier to buy a 1/2" NPT to 3/8" NPT REDUCER and then use a 3/8" NPT to 3/8" hose barb which is much more common

hope that helps
