Default Vig 3600 installed (SWEET)

I just drove the car for the first time today with the vig 3600 installed. And all i can say is holy crap what a difference it makes with this convertor(WOW). I know everybody has there own opinion of the gtec meter, but i made back to back runs with and without the convertor .
13.3 @111 with 0-60 in 4.7 stock convertor.
12.34@116 with 0-60 in 3.9 with convetor installed and shift points adjusted with Diablo Predator. Can not wait to got to the track this spring.( Gtec mph is wwwaaaayyyy optimistic, just look at time differences only) Can you tell i am happy with this convertor??

Hey man

Sounds like you picked up alot. Those Vigs are great converters.I would expect alittle less than the #`s you are getting when you get to the track. What kind of tires did you use on those runs? That Diablo Predator helps also becasue it removes the torque management.Good luck with the car sounds like you have a nice combo.

Thanks Jeremy. I run Nitto drag radials. A little heat and they work real nice. Since my 13.2 @ 104 i have gutted the cats and programmed with Diablo also Nittos and convertor. Looking to get 12.4x range at track, only time will tell.

When you hit the track, do a good burnout. The nittos can hook. I pulled a 1.60 60' on nittos. Couldn't do it consistantly though. You should be able to run 12.3x's. The mph just seems to high. I would guess around 110 with a stock motor.

2001 Pewter WS6, I would love to hit 110 mph but realistically think about 106-107 is where i might be. Also 12.3x area would be great, thanks for the advise on the nittos. They hooked before the convertor, spraying a 150 shot out of the hole.I really do not expect to hook without ET Steets. Next to be installed is a Borla cat back system i bought in the "parts for sale" section on this board.Got the convertor now want the bark to go with it.

im predicting a 12.34@110 with your mods NA

get headers and some other little bolt ones and u will have a 11.9-12.0 car stock internally

nittos will hook fine.. i averaged 1.60-1.64 on them rollin into the throttle at 18-20psi on 16's.

My best 60 was a 1.58 and 1.59 on them

best ET with that converter was a 11.95@112.6 on a 1.58 stock internally on 3.23's. I wish i had slapped on et streets and got a little better weather/weight reduction. Im sure the car had 11.8's in it with that setup.
