Uh... this has everyone that has looked at my car and done stuff to the trans with a huge WTF??????????

Ive been having issues with the trans slipping going into third. Its a stage 2 trans from HPA that I put in a couple weeks ago. Been slipping since day one.

Everyone thought it was something in the valvebody.

So... I get the valvebody replaced.

What happens???

I LOOSE 3 and 4. Completely gone.

The just put the original valvebody in.

It has 3 and 4 again. Probably still slipping.

Anyone have any ideas??? If it isnt slipping, Im not pulling it. If it is, Im pulling it and sending it back to HPA. Josh at HPA has no idea, the best trans guy in Central Florida has no idea...

I just want to find out what the deal is...

Sounds like a complete cluster-F, I would be pissed, as I am sure you are. Are they going to fix it properly?!?

 

Hey man, I feel your pain. I have the same problem. It has been rebuilt, new and more clutches, new silonids, new band and vacume controled. As well as a trans-go shift kit. At part throtle and manually shifting at 5 it hits hard in every gear. Now at wot going into 3rd it seems to be a 3-400 rpm hesitation. It's like its going to shift then dosen't know what to do then it shifts. I have checked line pressure and a few other things but no luck. I have a sy3500 and tq management is deleted with edit. If I find something I'll let you know. Maybe it will help you out.

 

Well... I pulled the trans out on Saturday and sent it back to HPA today.

They are going to throw it up on the transmission dyno and figure out whats wrong with it, fix it, and send it back to me. Im hoping to have it back by monday or tuesday and throw it in the car.

Getting pretty good at swapping transmissions now.
