700r4 on LQ4
hi, i'm getting started on my 6.0 l project and somebody told me that if i want to fit my 700r4 on my 6.0 lq4, i would need a flexplate from the combo 6.0l and 4l80. is it true ??? cause i verified and my engine had the 4l60 ( there is 3 holes to bolt on the torque) but i measured from the block ( where it is punched 6.0L ) to the end of the flexplate and it gave me 1 and 1/8 inch. i also verifyed on several other 6.0l (maybe 5 or 6) and 5.3 and 4.8 and my flexplate is the most far from the engine. please could you tell me if i need the spacer because i'm preparing the engine but i don't have the tranny at home !! thanks !

is your flex plate curved or flat,, you need the flat flexplate and spacer from a 6.0L that came with a 4L80e trans, or just get the hughes spacer
