B&M shifter

Could a b&m mega shifter thats made for the 4l60e and all ther other trans work on a 4l80e? Summit shows that it fits every trans but the 4l80e. Whats the differense?

Does it specifically state that the shifter will not work with it... or is it simply excluded?

Thanks for the link... I cannot see any reason why it would not work just fine. As long as it has a 4 position gate... no worries!

Thanks. thats what I am using right now, and it doesnt exactly work right. When I pull it out of park it doesnt stop at reverse, sometimes it wants slide all the way into nuetral then stop. then up shifting I have to double upshifts to get into gear.

Maybe I need some new hardware. I bought it used and it did come with the bracket that goes on the detent rod so I made one. that might be the problem
