Yank 3800
Just had a Yank 3800 converter, SLP Linelock, TransGo shift kit, and trans cooler installed.
Wow, its going to take a little getting used to. lol You have to get it to about 2k rpms before you even begin to inch forward. But when it locks up, you better watch out. I can't wait to throw the ET Streets on there and get back out to the track. My previous best 60' was a 1.9 and I went 12.7, I'm hoping to knock that down to at least a 1.6 and low low 12s.

Make sure your fluid is full. A friend & I just installed a Yank SS3600. It will pull forward at 650 rpm idle if I take my foot off the brake. But it acted very loose when I first drove it in the process of topping of my fluid.
Drop some 3:73's in and that will help for the street...
A 1.6 60' will be no problem. I can still remember the 1st time I did it, I lost my stomach and almost **** my pants. lol

somethins up with your install if it doesnt inch forward till 2000RPMs My vig 3600(4000 in reality) pulls forward as soon as i take my foot off the brake, samething happens when I drove my buddies PT4400 it crept forward off idle as long as the road isnt uphill

I'll check the fluid again, but it was full last night when I picked it up. Inching away at 2k rpms may have been a slight exaggeration, although thats what it feels like compared to stock. It will inch (and I do mean inch) forward at around 1k, but to take off at a decent speed it takes 2000-2500 rpms from a stop. To leave briskly, about 3k rpms. Once it gets to about 35-40 it locks up and drives almost the same as stock. I did give it about 70% throttle from 40mph merging onto the interstate and it locked up and pulled really hard. So I think the install is ok. I just can't wait to get back out to the track.
I normally don't drive the car to work, but I wanted to get some more seat time with the new converter. I just got to work and the car is a completely different car than it was last night. It now will inch forward off of idle, and anything less than about 25% throttle and it pretty much locks right up and feels damn near stock. If you step into it, it loosens right up and lights the tires up. Not that I'm complaining or anything, that is fantastic, it feels almost stock in "around town" type driving, but gets vicious when you step into it.
So do converters normally have a warm up or break in period when installed? Honestly, the car is night and day different between last night and this morning.

Please note:
BREAK IN PERIOD…
Yank converters have a special clutch lining material that requires a special break in procedure.
This procedure consists of:
Driving the converter at normal speeds with NO WOT starts or brake stalling the converter for approx, 150 miles.
Stall checking or Brake stalling will severely damage the clutch lining if converter is not broke in properly. This will void any warranty.
Not sure if you did this but figured I'd post it up.

I put in 3.73s with the SS3800 and the first time to the track after that right off the street it did a 1.6 60' and I had to let out of it because I wasn't used to the feeling. It'll put smiles on your face for sure. Previous best was 2.0.
You guys are killing me, I get my car back in a couple hours. Stock to ss4000 cant wait!!

Another 1.6 60' here on 3.23s and manifolds. I haven't gotten a good 1320' pass because of my rude rev' limiter but it should be squared away now.
IMO, your stall sounds about right. My car will creep at idle off the brake and take about 2500 RPMs to keep up with traffic around here. Just wait until until you stomp on it from about 40 MPH. My car will downshift into second and promptly kick the rear end out and spin; it's great!!!
My brother had a SS4000 with 3.73s and I think he could've scratched 11s with a little weight reduction - stall/intake/exhaust only. I'm shooting for bottom 12s with weight reduction.
You'll love those stalls at the track

Try a 1.45 60'... I hit that this past year and I could not see the pavement! That kinda scared the **** out of me too.. LOL
I have a 4K fuddle, its going to taking a 200 shot out of the hole as soon as the tracks open. Cant wait to **** my pants again with a 1.3X 60'.
I'd rather feel 1.3 60's than a rollercoaster hitting the first drop!
Mine is prettymuch the same getting it to go off the line. Got to throttle it some more, show it some foot love. One trick is to get into the throttle more and get going faster so you'll reach lock-up faster. Might save a bit of gas that way even though its counter intuitive at first.
