bout as big as you wanna go with. I ran a loose 4000 with no problems on stock head/cam for a long time. You'd be fine with a 4400 if ya wanted, your shift extension wont be too much since your closer to stock.
Judging from the screen names the op has an LT1 and the guy that responded has an LS1. The LS1 has a much higher power range than the LT1. Your stock LT1 would most likely be a dog 4000+ stall.

You should try contacting them and tell them what you have and what you are trying to do with the car. They can most likely set you up with something that fits your needs.
