Default Spec Stage II Install Results...

Installed my Spec stage II yesterday, new clutch, flywheel, upgraded m/c and s/c. Everything went really smooth, fells really good and shifts great. I bled it off good, but didnt get all crazy like some people do...I pumped it about 25 times and bled...did this about 5 times. works great. I have no chatter, no jerky take offs, just nice smooth clean acceleration. Cant wait till its broke in!!! This clutch is very streetable.

Ran into one problem, but it was my fault. I went to do the drill out mod, and used a dremel...well i guess it got a little too hot and melted the linning inside the hose, so I just had to use my old line with out drilling it out. I really wanted to drill it out while it was all apart, but the clutch seems to be working great so far. Sorry this is so long, but i know when I was looking to buy my clutch I wanted to know what everyone thought of their's, you know....you have one guy say a certain clutch is great and another say the same one is crap. All I can say is the one i got is great, next time i think i would upgrade to the stage 3 though. Hope this helps some of you. <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

congrats on your install. i have stage III and love it. no chatter at all.
i don't think you'll feel the drill mod unless you are powershifting (when you need the extra fluid); no need for it if you don't powershift.

No, I dont power shift....I cant afford to do that!!! It seems fine without the drill out mod. But just a word to the wise to be careful if you do decide to do the mod, take your time and drill slow so it stays cool.
