dont know about NA but the Ohio Boys are running an 80e in the high 7's a 185+

 

If you are wanting the strongest auto trans w/ OD go with a 4L80e. You can build them to last if you do it right. In my opinion, a 3 speed auto really isn't a true option in a DD, especially with a motor built to run. I can barely pay for gas in my DD and I HAVE OD.

 

Ohio boys are fast, Mightymouse ran 9.0x with an 80e also.
